This is the second track released to the public as an early preview of the album "Art Of The Hustle" From Seven Oddities Records veteran MC Tony Patagonia (A.K.A. PRONE). The album was completely produced by 5th element of Mic Theory Records and drops March 13th 2015. This track, titled "606sixty" is a track featuring 7 Oddz C.E.O. DreamTek. On this track Tony and Tek go back and fourth over a dope head nodder of a beat. the track goes back in time and reflects on Tony and Tek's early days starting out recording with bad equipment but still putting everything they had into their craft. The title of the track says it all with the zip code of their first studio setup. It then goes on to compare how they operate now a days and have grown and paid dues over the years. One thing that never changed is their love and hunger for this Hip Hop culture. That.....has been the same since day one. With that being said, check out "606sixty" and take a trip down Seven Oddities memory lane!
Take a look at a early review of Tony Patagonia's newest solo album "Art Of The Hustle" Which was fully produced by 5th element of Mic Theory Records. This song take from Milwaukee Based Emcee Taiyamo Denku & Australian producer Dcypha's Album SUPERNATURAL. The Video Visually will basically show you 3 emcees throwing Lyrics in your direction over some Hard Boom Bap production by Dcypha , all stimulated by a Good Dark Urban Setting which makes up for a classic styled Hip Hop Video In this Presentation of MEET YA FATE which Features Big Pun's Son the Up and Coming Chris Rivers and Mobb Deep Affiliated Big Noyd .
It has been a busy and crazy year here at Seven oddities Records. We have seen new faces come and sadly go for different reasons entirely. Unfortunately sometimes that is just how it goes. No love lost for those that have moved on to other things. In the wake of the recent changes we had some room for a few new faces that have been being considered for quite some time. I would like to take this time to personally welcome "Taiyamo Denku"....."Roy hobbes" and "billie Dee boodah" to the Seven oddz family. All 3 of these cats are highly skilled MC's and writers and are no new jacks when it comes to doing this shit. We are blessed to have them all join the family as each of them brings something completely fresh to the table. If you know anything about us, you know that we all have completely different styles. But we are able to build together and make it seem like it was meant to be. Thats the beauty of what we have here. 3 more artists that are bringing straight fire to the table and who will fit right in our regular shenanigans with no effort at all. On behalf of the crew i say welcome home! The main artist page on 7oddz.com has been updated to reflect the recent changes in staff. Bio's, videos, discography for all 3 new heads will be added soon.
Coming Early 2015 - Tony Patagonia - Art Of The Hustle (produced by: 5th Element of Mic theory Records.)
I have had the pleasure of recording, mixing and mastering this album and let me tell you, this shit is SOLID! if you are familiar with 5th Elements style of production you know what kind of heat is on here. Just banger after banger, HARD drums, dirty samples and that good old grimy sound 5th is known for producing. In my opinion this is one of the most thought out releases from Tony patagonia, he blesses every track Perfectly and the entire album stays on track. He definitely flexes his lyrical abilities on this, it's almost as if every release gets better. That's what its all about! a short but more than satisfying release, containing only 9 tracks and multiple skits, prone takes you on adventures of a bonified hustler from the streets of Chicago in a way only he could. Art Of the hustle contains only a few features from SaveOnE, DreamTek and Pride. be on the lookout early 2015 for the release party and release date!

This album has been a long time in the making, He originally started talking about making this one a few years back. According to Dream, he scrapped all the songs he had previously written for this over that time and started completely fresh. So this entire album was written and recorded in the month of January 2014. He didnt want any older tracks to make the cut that threw off the feel of the album.
The album itself is a celebration of not giving a fuck. From front to back its filled with hard hitting beats and rhymes that you would expect from the "Angry MC" The album is completely produced, written, scratched, mastered by Dream himself. His words, "I wanted to prove a point to myself. If I went about doing the entire project myself, no features, no help, no nothing....and it wasn't dope? Then its all on me, that would mean I've failed myself. But you know I wouldn't let that happen right?"
Be sure to come on out to the release party and celebrate with the fam. And support the album when it drops.
Be on the lookout for new videos etc.
